Add a video stream
You can add a video stream to a camera that the Senstar Symphony Server can use to display video at a reduced resource cost.
Note: Some settings are unavailable if you apply a template to the camera. You
must change the settings in the camera template.
- In the Senstar Symphony Server configuration interface, click .
- Select a camera and click Edit.
- In the Video section, click Add Stream.
- In the Resolution field, select the resolution for the stream.
- In the FPS field, select the frames per second for the stream.
- In the Video Codec field, select the video codec for the stream.
- In the Transport field, select how the camera transmits video from the stream to the Senstar Symphony Server.
- In the Bitrate field, select the bitrate for the stream.
- In the Key Frame Interval list, select the frequency of frames in the video that the Senstar Symphony Server considers to be key frames.
- In the Recording Mode list, select when the Senstar Symphony Server records video from the stream.
- In the Schedule list, select when the recording mode is active for the stream.
- Click Save.
