Add an overlay command

You can add the output of an I/O device to a camera as a overlay command. When you view the camera in the Senstar Symphony Client interface, the command appears as a button in the camera view that, when clicked, activates the output of the I/O device.

After you add an overlay command to a camera. the command appears in the Senstar Symphony Client interface as it appears in the Senstar Symphony Server configuration interface (including aliases). You can add multiple overlay commands to a camera.

1. In the Senstar Symphony Server configuration interface, click Devices > Cameras.
2. Select a camera and click Edit.
3. In the Overlay Commands section, select the hardware device that you want to command.
4. In the Choose a command list, select what the command does (e.g., Activate, Deactivate, Toggle State, etc.).
5. Click Save.
