Aero- Add support for HID VertX V100, V200 and V300 Controllers

Considerations Prior to Setup

  • This guide will assist you in setting up the Aero X1100 intelligent controller and adding support for legacy HID VertX V100, V200 and V300 subcontrollers.
  • Make sure you add Symphony AC and all sub-folders files to the anti-virus exclusion list.
  • Port 3001 must be opened to allow communication between the Aero X1100controller and Symphony AC.

Adding a V100, V200, V300 controller under Aero X1100

    1. From Hardware Tree pane, select the Aero Driver > then select Aero X1100 controller. In the Controller Properties, locate the 'Dialect' property and select 'VertX'
    2. Then right-click the X1100 controller >Edit>Add Sub-Controller. In the New Sub-Controller window, select the appropriate VertX sub-controller type you want to add (V100, V200 or V300). Specify the correct Sub-controller Address. This value must match the physical controller addressing based off the dipswitch assignment. The first subcontroller Address must be 1 or higher. then Click on the Check Mark icon
    3. The new subcontroller should now appear in the hardware tree and as well as in the Controller Status Screen
