You may wish to give card holders access to portals for a specified time period.  This access consists of portals that the card holder would not normally have access to (i.e. contractors or temporary employees).  Adding a start and stop time period will automatically start and stop the cards access to the temporary access level(s) based on the date range specified. To configure temporary access levels, complete the following steps:

  1. To access the advanced access tab, click the Access module in Symphony AC>Personnel Manager. Unlock the module. Click on the Advanced Access tab to access the options seen in figure 1 below:

  1. Click on the drop down arrow below the Temporary Access Level Start Date. Select the desired Temporary Access Level Start date from the calendar provided.  To select months in the future or past click on the left and right arrows to advance / decrease the month.
  2. Click the drop down arrow below the Temporary Access Level Stop Date. Select the desired Temporary Access Level Stop date from the calendar provided.  To select months in the future or past click on the left and right arrows to advance / decrease the month.
  3. Click the “Save” button to save your changes.
