Ho to switch the Default Video Display Engine

This Knowledge Base Article is intended for Symphony Client users who want to switch from the default Video Display Engine to the testing version with the new Video Display Engine.

Steps to Switch to the New Video Display Engine

1. Identify the Panel: Locate the panel where you want to enable the new Video Display Engine.

2. Perform the Switch:

   • Press and hold the CTRL key on your keyboard.

   • Drag a camera from the device tree or map into the specific Client Panel.

3. Verify the Change:

   • After the switch, the panel title will display [New] at the end to indicate that it is using the new Video Display Engine.

By following these steps, you can easily switch to and use the new video display engine (currently in BETA).
