Setting | Description |
Name | Type the name of the Salto access control device. The name appears in the device tree in the Senstar Symphony Client. |
Type | The type is Salto Access Control. |
Managed By | Select the Senstar Symphony Server that manages this access control device. |
Failover Enabled | Select to allow the access control device to move to another Senstar Symphony Server if a failover occurs. |
IP Address | Type the IP address of the access control device. |
Port | Select the port that the Senstar Symphony Server uses to communicate with the access control device. |
Event polling interval | Select how often the Senstar Symphony Server checks the access control device for new events. |
User sync interval | Select how often the Senstar Symphony Server checks the access control device for changes to the user database. |
Communication protocol | Select whether to use HTTP or HTTPS as the protocol for communication between the Senstar Symphony Server and the access control device. |
Authorization type | Select how the access control device authorizes the Senstar Symphony Server. If you select None, you do not need to provide credentials. If you select Basic, you need to provide a username and password. If you select Custom, you need to provide an API key. |
Username | Type the username that the Senstar Symphony Server uses for basic authorization with the access control device. You set the user name in the Salto software first and then add it to the Senstar Symphony Server configuration interface.

Password | Type the password that the Senstar Symphony Server uses for basic authorization with the access control device. You set the password in the Salto software first and then add it to the Senstar Symphony Server configuration interface. |
