Video distortion affects moving objects on Axis cameras added using ONVIF

Issue

Axis cameras added to the Senstar Symphony Server using ONVIF display video distortion around moving objects.

Cause

In some circumstances, the camera defaults to the Constant Bitrates encoding configuration (instead of the Maximum Bitrates encoding configuration), which limits the bitrate to 300.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, manually set the encoding configuration to the Maximum Bitrates encoding configuration (MBR) in the Web interface for the camera.
