Integrate a Software House C•Cure 9000 access control device

You can integrate the Software House C•CURE 9000 access control device with the Senstar Symphony Server to use events from the access control device to trigger alarms.

Supported versions:

  • Software House C•CURE 9000 v3.0
  • Software House C•CURE 9000 v2.9
  • Software House C•CURE 9000 v2.8

Required licenses:

  • Symphony V8 Software House Integration
    • This license is from Senstar.
    • You must add this license to the Senstar Symphony Server.
  • Senstar Symphony integration
    • This license is from Software House.
    • You must add this license to the Software House C•CURE server.

To integrate the CCURE 9000, complete the following work flow:

  1. Install and configure the Software House C•CURE 9000 software. The  Software House C•CURE 9000 software should not be on the same computer as the Senstar Symphony Server.
  2. On the computer that hosts the Software House C•CURE 9000 software, install the Senstar Symphony/C-CURE Listener.
    • This application is available from Senstar Support. The Senstar Symphony/C-CURE Listener requires .NET 4.8 or later.
    • Once the listener is installed, start the listener service.
    • Check the C•CURE logs for "i'm listening" to verify that the listener is connected to the Software House C•CURE 9000 server. If the Software House C•CURE 9000 server has a high number of users (thousands), the listener takes a long time to start.
  3. In the C:\Program Files (x86)\Tyco\CrossFire\Tools folder, run the following command to update and validate the license:
    InsertLicenseOption /U /V /S:<computer_name>\<instance_name> /N:"Senstar Symphony Integration" /A:"Senstar Corp." /G:4e5ec126-f75c-4fc4-b03c-98131936e8b5 /C:2 /P:0
    • Where <computer_name> is the name of the computer that hosts the C•CURE SQL Server and <instance_name> is the name of the C•CURE SQL instance.
  4. In the Senstar Symphony Server configuration interface, add the Software House C•CURE 9000 access control device as an integration.
