Issue: Symphony and RBH on same server and Symphony will not connect

Reason

The IP Address in the Add Access Device dialog is used as the server location. When RBH is on another server, it connects to the default instance and works correctly. When RBH and Symphony share a server, it fails because it’s trying to connect to Senstar instance as the default instance.

Solution

Specify the server and instance name in the IP Address field. For example, VMSSERVER\AXIOM
