How to set up Symphony for use with XTS KBC-601-IP Joystick

Applies to Symphony 6.14.3.3 and later.

Before you can use the XTS KBC-601-IP joystick, you must connect Symphony Client using the IP Address and Port of the joystick.

1. Close Symphony Client.
2. Edit %appdata%/Senstar/acc.ini.
3. Enter the IP Address and Port under [Joystick] section of the device:

EXAMPLE only:
[Joystick]
IP=192.168.1.234
Port=34567


4. Restart Symphony Client.

Only the following buttons are mapped to Symphony functionality:

0 to 9, PRESET, FOCUS, IRIS, ZOOM, AUX, PLAY, PAUSE, PREV, NEXT, CAM, ID, SEARCH, MULTI, ADD

• Enter time in format hh,hhmm or hhmmss followed by SEARCH button (displays jpeg from that time)
• Enter number followed by ID or CAM button (switches live view camera to that number)
• Enter number followed by PRESET (recalls preset number)
• PLAY/PAUSE is mapped to pre-recorded video play/pause
• PREV button is mapped to previous activity on timeline
• NEXT button is mapped to next activity on timeline
• ADD button is mapped to bookmark
