To support SSL communications, you must add a certificate to Mobile Bridge. You can use the self-signed certificate generator to create a self-signed certificate. The self-signed certificate generator works with Windows 8 or later.

  1. In the PowerShell, run the following command as an administrator:
  2. New-SelfSignedCertificate -NotAfter $(Get-Date).AddYears(100) -DnsName %computername% -CertStoreLocation Cert:\LocalMachine\My
  3. In the Configure Symphony Mobile Bridge application, perform the following tasks:
    1. Select Show Advanced Configuration.
    2. Select Require SSL for Mobile Connections.
    3. Click Change, select the certificate, and click OK.
    4. Click Save.
