How to disable mandatory presets for PTZs

In the Manual Configuration Editor add the ToursMandatory setting.

1. From the Server menu, select Manual Configuration Editor.The Server Configuration dialog box opens.
2. Click Add a new setting... in the first row to activate the cells.
3. In the blank field under the Type, Section, Key, and Value columns, enter:
   Type: Server
   ID: 5000
   Section: Camera
   Key: ToursMandatory
   Value: False
4. Click OK. (Verify that the setting has been added.)
5. Click Close.
6. Restart Symphony.

If you have a multi-server farm, add the ToursMandatory setting to all servers by using different Server IDs.

Important: If you do not define a tour for a camera, then video analytics will not work.
