C: drive completely filled up and not being cleared

Issue

The C: drive is completely filled up.

Configured cameras to alternate drives and changed default path, but the C: drive is not being cleared.

Scenario

Server has 24GB of RAM and Windows sets the default page file size to match the physical RAM.
The C: drive, however, is only 40GB. Windows plus the page-file alone consumes more than 80% of the C: drive.

Solution

Temporary fix: Set a (smaller) fixed page-file size.

Long term solution: Ensure larger C: partitions.
