A farm with ID already exists, possibly because of a farm merge or corrupt registration. Registration for has been removed.

Issue

Launch Symphony Client and receive message:

A farm with ID <XNET ID> already exists, possibly because of a farm merge or corrupt registration. Registration for <servername> has been removed.

Solution in Release 6.7.4

You must enable the new setting UseCachedAddresses=False to turn off the caching of the IPs by the Client.

1. Close Symphony Client as this saves the current settings.
2. Edit %appdata%\aimetis\acc.ini
3. Add the following line to the [Main] section:

UseCachedAddresses=False

4. Save the acc.ini file and re-open Symphony Client.
