Ports used in Senstar Symphony Versions 6 and earlier

Guidelines

Live port always ends in 0 or 6.
Config port always ends in 1 or 7.
Historical port always ends in 2 or 8.
XmlStream port always ends in 3 or 9.

Current port allocation scheme:
xxxx0: Cameras 0 - 4999: Live video.
xxxx1: Cameras 0 - 4999: Control port.
xxxx2: Cameras 0 - 4999: Historical video.
xxxx3: Cameras 0 - 4999: Xml stream (disabled).
50005: VideoWall.
xxxx6: Cameras 5000 - 9999: Live video.
xxxx7: Cameras 5000 - 9999: Control port.
xxxx8: Cameras 5000 - 9999: Historical video.
xxxx9: Cameras 5000 - 9999: Xml stream (disabled).

xxxx4 and xxxx5 are free

Cameras 0 - 999: 50000 + CamId * 10. The three 0's in the middle are the camera ID.
Cameras 1000 - 4999: CamId * 10. The first 4 digits are the camera ID.
Cameras 5000 - 5999: Start at 50006.
Cameras 6000 - 9999: Start at 10006.

External ports. The user can change the base port in the UI.
The base port should never be below 6000.

50002

Legacy Symphony SSO protocol (Symphony versions earlier than 6.11.1)

Not compatible with stronger encryption algos for Windows Kerberos/AD authentication such as AES-256 (only algos equal or weaker than AES-128 are supported. Example: RC4, RC5, DES, 3DES, AES-128).

If SSO is required then the client must open the firewall outbound access to that port.

50004 A TCP port open on the server side, to serve requests coming from other server-side sub-services. NO special firewall rules are needed for that on the client.
50015 Symphony SSO protocol (Symphony 6.11.1 and later). Supports everything that the legacy can support, but in addition, can support newer/stronger cryptography, for example: AES-256.
