Determining Axis Camera Application Platform Compatibility
The Senstar People Counter can be used on Axis devices that support the Axis Camera Application Platform and have the following CPU: Here is how to determine what version of the the platform your Axis camera includes: Check CPU Type - Connect to the camera with an SSH client
- Run:
command: cat /proc/cpuinfo
The system type should be displayed. Note: - Release 2.1.1 is compatible with Axis cameras based on the ARTPEC-4 CPU (chip) or ARTPEC-5 CPU (chip), and that support ACAP (AXIS Camera Application Platform).
- Release 2.1 is compatible with Axis cameras based on the ARTPEC-4 CPU (chip) or ARTPEC-5 CPU (chip), and that support ACAP (AXIS Camera Application Platform).
- Release 2.0 is compatible with Axis cameras based on ARTPEC-3 CPU (chip) and that support ACAP (AXIS Camera Application Platform).
